 Our
audit this year took place on May 6-7, providing
us with ISO certification for another year; however,
the audit this year was unique because it reviewed
all of our transition efforts toward the newest
ISO standard, the 9001:2000 version. This
new certification replaces our certification to
the ISO 9002:1994 standard. All companies
seeking certification to the 9001:2000 standard
have until December 15, 2003 to successfully complete
a transition audit.
The 9001:2000 standard includes such new criteria
as management commitment, internal communication,
customer satisfaction, measurement and analysis,
and continual improvement.
We are especially proud of everyone involved during
the audit and for their continued efforts to maintain
the goals of our Quality Policy.
